Congratulations to Eric Karjalainen from Brighton Bank, winner of the inaugural Emerging Bank Leader award! The award was presented during the UBA Emerging Bank Leaders Conference at Thanksgiving Point on Nov. 14. Eric has worked in the financial industry for over 28 years, becoming a respected leader whose commitment to community banking and service exemplifies the ideals of Utah’s banking industry. He has been an active member of the EBL Events Committee for 6 years — even serving as the 2021-2022 committee chair — and is equally dedicated to his team, his customers and his community.
