spring 2013 29 Bankers on the Move Shea Bettencourt , 14-year veteran mortgage loan officer has ad- vanced within Bank of Utah to become the new mortgage branch manager at the Providence, Utah location. Bettencourt attended both Weber State and Utah State Universities before choosing his mortgage loan career path. Ross Burton has been promoted to Vice President and Manager of the Concierge Banking division for Town & Country Bank of St. George UT Ryan Granquist, nineteen-year banking expert, joined Bank of Utah, to serve as vice president and a bank-wide branch administrator. Granquist, who is based in Ogden, is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Ex- aminers. He holds a BS from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Jacob Heugly has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Corporate Services for Zions Bank. Heugly began his career with Zions Bank in 1998, and was chosen to head Corporate Treasury Man- agement sales and strategy for Zions Bancorporation in 2012. His division encompasses treasury management, foreign exchange, and correspondent banking. Nic Jones has been promoted to Assistant Manager in the Payson office of Central Bank. Jones joined Central Bank as a Loan Officer in June 2007. Jones graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in business management with an emphasis in banking Jill Lawrence , eight-year lending expert, has joined Bank of Utah, to head up consumer lending services for the Ogden branch. Lawrence has a BS in psychology fromWeber State University and an Associate of Sciences in biology from the College of Eastern Utah. George Myers has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Zions Bank. Myers oversees hiring, benefits, professional development and employee relations for a workforce of 2,700. He joined Zions Bank in 1997 and was named senior vice president of Human Resources in 2006. Larry Miner , one of the most industrious, highly regarded execu- tive, has been honored by Bank of American Fork, as he retires after almost 45 years of service to the bank. He retires as a senior vice president, chief operating officer and one of the longest-ten- ured associates at Bank of American Fork. Todd L. Stewart , Rock Canyon Bank, has been promoted to Chief Credit Officer John Stillings has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking for Zions Bank. Stillings will oversee nine credit regions in Utah and Idaho, along with commercial sales and strategy. He has 40 years of banking experience, most recently serving as executive vice president of Commercial Lending. n
