Ally is one of the first banks to offer customers this type of personalization and customization in a mobile app. Users can interact with Ally Assist via speech or text to perform a wide range of tasks, including transfers, bill payments and deposits, or request information on transactions, inter- est earned and saving/spending patterns. Ally Assist can also predict customer needs by ana- lyzing accounts and transactions to present customers context-aware topics and messages. Using automated intelligence and customer data profiles, it "learns" from individual interactions and transactional behavior to offer useful information to the customer, such as the date and amount of a recent deposit, or a duplicate charge posted to a checking account. "As consumers rapidly adapt to the mobile environment, they’re becoming more familiar with voice-assisted appli- cations," said Diane Morais, president and chief executive officer of Ally Bank. "Ally Assist provides our customers a deeper awareness of their bank account activity, allow- ing more control in managing their money right at their fingertips."
