Several employees including Dawn Brandvold, Charlotte Thompson, and Jordan Harrison are involved in the Volunteers of Amer- ica reading program at Layton Elementary where they have been tutoring students in reading for three years. Brady Stratton has been involved in teaching Financial Literacy seminars to High Schools in Davis County. The bank continues its sponsorship of the Layton Liberty Days celebration as well as other holiday festivities in Clear- field, Bountiful, Salt Lake, and Draper. In July, the bank helped sponsor the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital Walk for Love event in Salt Lake City. Other sponsorships include the Utah High School Biking League, the Layton City Marathon, the United Way of Salt Lake, and the Davis Arts Council.
