ZIONS BANK Zions Bank Named Among the Nation’s Best Banks to Work for in 2015 In the September issue of American Banker magazine, Zions Bank was honored among the nation’s Best Banks to Work for in 2015. Zions Bank ranked No. 3 in the catego- ry of large banks with more than $19 billion in assets and No. 46 overall. The honor marks the third consecutive year Zions Bank has been recognized, the only bank from Utah to make the list. In addition, a photo of Zions Bank President and CEO Scott Anderson was featured on the magazine’s cover to represent the bank’s commitment to happiness in the workplace. Zions Bank was named on the list based off employee surveys and a consideration of factors such as competitive pay and benefits, policies and wellness programs. The bank was featured for the camaraderie fostered in the workplace through community service such as the Paint-a-Thon and employee well-being through the zFit wellness program. High School Students “Get Smart About Credit” with Zions Bank in October Zions Bank employees taught more than 2,000 students in Utah and Idaho in October in observance of the national “Get Smart About Credit” Day. Bankers volunteered to teach in classrooms statewide including Payson, Orem, Enterprise, Magna and Ogden. Presentations explained topics such as student debt, identity theft and credit scores. “The value of our community is strengthened when we empower our youth on managing their finances and under- standing their credit score,” said Zions Bank President and CEO Scott Anderson. “Our hope is that they can be better prepared to make smart decisions when they’re on their own and have a positive impact in their community.” Anderson and Executive Vice President Rob Brough made a “Get Smart About Credit” presentation to West High School in Salt Lake City and emphasized the importance of protecting their credit score by avoiding identity theft.
