Issue 2. 2016 23 Bankers on the Move Breck Judd has been hired as the Branch Manager for State Bank of Southern Utah’s Kanab branch. Breck has been in banking for three years and just received his MBA. We’re excited to welcome Breck into the SBSU family! Donetta Miller has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager with State Bank of Southern Utah . Donet- ta manages our River Road branch and has 30 years of experi- ence in banking. Dixie Smith, KeyBank Utah’s Community Relations Manager, retired on June 1 after 50 years of service to the bank. Over the past five decades, Smith held nine different positions within the company, including executive roles such as overseeing human resources, marketing, training, and compen- sation. She was also one of the first female officers of Commercial Security Bank, which KeyBank acquired in 1988. She has served as community rela- tions manager since 1999. Lance Stott has joined State Bank of Southern Utah as Branch Manager of our Richfield Branch. Lance has extensive experience in audit with the Leavitt Group and is excited to move back home to Richfield with his family. Paul Thome has been promoted to Execu- tive Vice President for SLM Corporation, commonly known as Sallie Mae. Mr. Thome serves as the company’s chief administra- tion officer and president of Sallie Mae Bank, a position he has held since 2011. He is responsible for the bank’s retail deposit business, the Office of the Customer Advocate, relationships with vendors and third-party providers, procurement, and facilities and support services. In addition, he chairs the bank’s Operational Risk Committee. “Paul’s unwavering commitment to our customers, combined with his broad background in financial services, makes him a ma- jor asset to Sallie Mae and our executive leadership team,” said Raymond J.
