www.uba.org 16 2016 Bank Executive Conference T he 5th Annual UBA Bank Executive Winter Confer- ence held December 2, 2016 at the Little America Ho- tel was well attended by bank executive officers from across the state of Utah in a setting designed to provide executive management teams with a “Risk Radar” to guide their banks through the industry’s most pressing issues for the coming year. This year’s conference included a Risk Radar Regulator Panel with representatives of the Federal Reserve, FDIC, OCC and the State of Utah, and featured keynote speaker ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols who addressed the New Administration, New Congress and New Game Plan. Other sessions included Rob Jeppsen, Xvoyant addressing Moving the Sales Needle While Removing Risk; an anal- ysis of PHH v CFPB delivered by Joe Lynyak and Steve Waterman, Dorsey & Whitney; and a lively discussion on FinTech with Don Musso, FinPro. At lunch, graduates of the 2016 EDP program were honored by their respective bank management. n
