It is our pleasure to support each of these students and future leaders.” KEYBANK DONATES $5,000 TO TURN COMMUNITY SERVICES KeyBank recently made a $5,000 donation to TURN Community Services. The contribution benefits the organization’s Supported Employment program, which helps people with disabilities find jobs that match their capabilities and their goals. TURN’s employ- ment program also helps participants learn the skills needed to make them valuable and responsible employees, while forming a meaningful and supportive network of coworkers and employers. “TURN Community Services is changing lives with its important work in support of people with disabilities,” said Terry Grant, president of KeyBank’s Utah market. “Part of the KeyBank Foun- dation’s mission is to provide grants that help equip adults with the necessary skills, education and capabilities to meet current and future employment demands in local markets. It is an honor to support TURN Community Services in their pursuit of provid- ing employment opportunities to people with disabilities in and around Salt Lake City.” STATE BANK OF SOUTHERN UTAH STATE BANK OF SOUTHERN UTAH DONATES $150,000 TO SUU State Bank of Southern Utah committed to donate $150,000 to help fund a new building for Southern Utah University’s School of Business. The building is set to begin construction in the Fall of 2017. SBSU employs many alumni of Southern Utah University and of- fers various internships for current students. State Bank is excited to contribute to higher education that will benefit the residents in the communities we serve. BLOODDRIVES State Bank partnered with the American Red Cross Utah to host three blood drives in 2016. During those blood drives alone, employ- ees and community members came together to donate 345 units of blood which could save as many as 1,035 lives. To date, blood drives sponsored by State Bank of Southern Utah have resulted in the donation of 2,835 units of blood, saving up to 8,505 lives.  Bank Kudos — continued on page 20
