www.uba.org 22 STATE BANK OF SOUTHERN UTAH OPENS NEWBRANCH State Bank of Southern Utah opened a new branch location in Cedar City. The new branch houses the mortgage and construction lenders and offers extended banking hours to the community. ZIONS BANK Zions Bancorporation executive Lori Chillingworth is the Salt Lake Chamber’s selection as the winner of the 2016 Athena Award, given annually to a female member who improves commu- nity life and helps women reach their full leadership potential. Chillingworth, who oversees credit-risk management for small businesses for Zions Bank, has been chairwoman of the chamber’s board of governors this past year and also was chairwoman of the Women’s Leadership Institute, whose goal is to “elevate societal understanding of the value of women’s leadership.” Chillingworth also has received a community impact award from U.S. Banker Magazine and a scholarship to study women’s leader- ship issues at Harvard and in France.  Bank Kudos — continued from page 19
