www.uba.org 26 Andrew Adams has been hired to serve as a Senior Loan Officer at Central Bank’s Spanish Fork Office. Adams has worked in banking for more than a decade. In his career he has accu- mulated experience in commercial lending that will greatly benefit Central Bank and the Spanish Fork community. Ashley Carl was recently promoted to Call Center Manager for Retail Deposits at Sallie Mae Bank. She will oversee the newly insourced call center for the Bank’s deposit products. Ashley has been with the Sallie Mae Bank for over 6 years, working in Deposit Operations. David Dyreng joins Central Bank as Assistant Manager of the Pleasant Grove Office and Senior Commercial Lender. Dyreng brings over a decade of banking and commercial lending exper- tise to Central Bank. He has been in both banking and com- mercial lending businesses for over 15 years. He has worked in various capacities and has extensive experience in commercial, construction and SBA lending. Howard Gurney has been appointed as the Appraisal Review Manager of the newly formed Appraisal Department at Cen- tral Bank. Gurney was a residential appraiser for many years before he began working at Central Bank as the Manager of the Mortgage Department in 2005. His expertise with appraisals will be instrumental in streamlining the process of ordering and reviewing appraisals at Central Bank. Tyler Heaps has been promoted to Vice President and Manager of the Mortgage Department at Central Bank. Heaps became a Mortgage Loan Officer at Central Bank in 2008. After 8 years of lending, he was appointed to Assistant Mortgage Manager. He served in that capacity for a year before being promoted to his current title. Heaps has a great understanding of mortgage lending, along with a contagious positive attitude that will prove beneficial to Central Bank. Shelly Johnson has been promoted to be an executive vice president at Zions Bank and will manage the bank’s executive operational risks and credit support. Johnson will also focus on managing findings from credit examination, audit, and compliance trainings for all bank em- ployees. Notably, she will be the first Asian American to be part of the Executive Management team at Zions Bank. Glen Jones has joined Comenity Capital Bank as Senior Director of Retail Banking Operations to help develop a new deposit program. Glen comes with an extensive background in banking having served in senior leadership roles with other successful banks, including Sallie Mae Bank and CIT Bank. Comenity Capital Bank is very excited to partner with Glen and utilize his expertise and experience in the banking industry. Seth Ollerton joins Central Bank as Director of Marketing. Ollerton brings over 11 years of bank marketing and digital marketing experience to Cen- tral Bank. He has worked for various Utah banks and most recently comes from 3 years as a Digital Marketing Manager at a Utah consulting firm. Jason Packard has been promoted to Senior Vice President at Central Bank. Packard will con- tinue to serve as the bank’s Office Manager in Springville, of which he was appointed in 2012. He has worked at Central Bank for 18 years, all the while culminating a vast knowledge of com- mercial lending and banking. BANKERS ON THE MOVE
