Credit Analyst Development Program (CADP) **Registration open* * The CADP is intended to help credit analysts, consumer and mortgage lenders, personal bankers, business development offi- cers, loan documentation specialists, and retail branch manag- ers develop the basic analytical and specialized skills needed to effectively support the commercial or business lending functions in the bank. This program includes six classes from April to June 2018 and covers topics such as: • The Role of a Credit Analyst Within the Bank • Accounting Basics/Refresher • Employing Basic Financial Analysis • Basic Personal & Business Tax Return Analysis • Loan Structure, Documentation, and Compliance • Basics of Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Lending and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending Commercial Lending Development Program (CLDP) The CLDP focuses on cultivating a strong foundation in the dy- namic and demanding commercial lending arena by identifying key skills required to perform the specialist function of assess- ing businesses for loan purposes. This course emphasizes the entire commercial loan life cycle and provides participants with current lending approaches, an updated focus on key analytics and regulatory issues. Students will improve their credit and marketing skills as a result of this training learning best prac- tices by participation in case studies and learn first-hand from industry executive speakers. Designed for commercial loan officers, relationship manag- ers, business development officers, private bankers and credit analysts looking to take their skills to the next level, the CLDP includes eight sessions and meets twice a month from Septem- ber to December 2018. Topics include: • Marketing/Business Development/Negotiations • In-depth Financial Analysis • In-depth Cash Flow • In-depth Loan Structure • Credit Memorandum Preparation/Presentations • Loan Review/Documentation/Compliance and Regulations • Problem Loan Monitoring/Business Law/Lender Liability • Comprehensive Overview: Senior Credit Officer Presenta- tions an Panel; Credit Presentations EDUCATION CORNER Professional development plays a vital role in banking today.
